Bainbridge Island Friends of the Library Donation Guidelines

You can bring your book donations to the Library as follows:
  • For a small volume donation (10-20 books), you can drop them off in the FOL donation cart upstairs any day Monday through Saturday during library hours.
  • For a large donation of books (several boxes, for example), you can drop them off Inside the door of the FOL book room downstairs next to the elevator.  You can find a hand-cart inside our book room to load boxes.
  • If there are any FOL volunteers in the book room when you want to drop off your donation, they will be happy to assist.  You will generally find FOL volunteers working in the book room on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. but occasionally also at other times.
  • To schedule a drop-off of a large donation or for help with your drop-off of books, please contact us at our email address:    We will get back to you quickly.
  • Please don't ask the library staff to help you as they are busy with their duties.
